Slow at the beggining with a build up at the chorus, this was the very first ever Pacer song. It even came long before the band thought of their name- Pacer... duh. It's like a tribute sort of. Can't go into much detail. Despite recent arguments of changing the lyrics to a million miles. We have come to an agreement- WHO CARES!!!! I like it... This song has always been dedicated to Now Open For Breakfast- a mad punk band from Narrabundah College (Canberra), they know the lyrics more than us.krn

Girls and Boys for Rent

We cheated on Sam and wrote this song with the replacement drummer Toby. Girls and Boys for Rent is about loosing your self and not knowing your story. Before I go on, yes... it's another song, about another boy.

Instant Fame

Pacer singer likes boys. She also likes boys in bands. She wants to be as famous as them. Instant fame is what we're looking for. Everybody needs their instant fame.

Suspended Love now called Star*Bender

Never make a public announcement if your boyfriend dumps you and breaks your heart. Remember also not to mention his name in front of practically the whole school. Chances are he won't want to talk to you even more. Boys suck so this is what the song is about... and the fact that everything feels so wrong all the time.krn

Guilt and Candy

The connection between gorging on food and feeling guilty about it. I hear girls saying it all them time, about how they ate something and they felt the need to immediately go for a walk to burn it off. FUCK THAT. You eat something for a reason, not to sweat it out of you 20 minutes after you've eaten it. I've got no fucking tolerance for mis-diagnosed anorexics.

UNPhuckable

One of the only Pacer songs that cause controversy, Utomo came up with this concept from a shirt she made. Unphuckable is a song about pure girls who wear a chastity belt. Thought we should bring it up. Also about virgin wannabes.krn

Tuesday Girl

Sort of a pay-out of the Gothic scene. Girls on their leashes..you know how it goes. Sorry all those Goths out there but wearing a dog collar just won't make you cool in my books :).ash

Pacer P Funky

We wrote this song in Gareth's house just after it rained, and I saw the window pane and the words just came out there and then. I wrote it on a piece of paper right there. The second verse got changed in the studio though, but it's for the better. The ending was also added on but I think it's great. Hardly ever played live, consider yourself lucky if you've heard it live.ash

Friend

This song is about wanting to do anything to get approval. In a friendship, sometimes competition is just apart of it. Being fat and uncool was also a big factor, being surrounded by these skinny trendy boys. Yet another song about them, but this one is more to the point.

Kill Your Ex-Girlfriend

It started out as a joke. I made up the main line and it grew from there. Karina wrote most of it, but we took some lines from my old poetry. THe stencil/fist part mainly and the dying bit. Angry angry angry girl's anthem.

Peter Pan

This one evolved from one of my verrrry old poems "Girls, Boys, Eyes and Ass". The chorus was taken from another but I can't remember the name of it. The first song I sang back up on. It's about people hellbent on acting older then they really are.
